Sustainable development, informed support

Our projects are run and managed by our organisation and funded by our donors. Any equipment or infrastructure which is donated to the community through this program is maintained and managed by Mmila Mela, but ultimately owned by the community. This program is considered a donation and therefore the only expectation we have from the community is to assist in the set-up and management of the program and keep any equipment or assets safe and undamaged.

We frequently consult with the community in Kgotla meetings as to what development they need or would like and vote on which projects are of priority. By allowing the community to guide us we are confident that we can provide long-term sustainable and structural support to the Xhoo community through development, education, and upliftment.
